Reading Aloud Nomination

Overview

Surrey Libraries and Brooklands Radio are celebrating the joy of reading aloud by inviting Surrey residents to nominate people who bring stories alive when reading aloud.

Do you know someone who is brilliant at reading stories aloud to children or to adults?  It might be a family member, your babysitter, a nursery nurse, school teacher or volunteer, or anyone else you love listening to reading aloud. 

We'd like to hear about them and what makes them so good at reading aloud.

Nominate them by Saturday 18 November 2017.  We will then invite the best to send us a recording of themselves reading aloud their favourite story by Friday 8 December for the final judging.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 12 December.  The winner and the person who nominated them will each receive a £20 book voucher and the winner will be invited to read a Christmas story aloud  on Brooklands Radio in the week before Christmas.
