Opened 3 Sep 2018

Overview

Summary

The Key Stage 1 (KS1) Star Mark allows infant and primary schools to gain recognition for their achievements in PE and school sport by applying for a Star Mark.  This will be assessed at either a 1, 2 or 3 star level, depending on the standard the school has reached in each of the criteria.

Similar to the School Games Mark (for KS2) schools now have the opportunity to apply for the KS1 Star Mark by using a simple application process.  The KS1 Star Mark will be valid for one academic year and applications can be made between September and December 2018 based on data and evidence from the previous academic year (2017-18).
