Overview

The Care Act 2014 came into force on the 1st April 2015.  As part of the Act (clause 4) a duty was placed on Surrey County Council to provide a universal information and advice service about care and support for its residents.

The act also places a duty to work collaboratively with our partners, including district and borough councils, to provide the service.

Why We Are Consulting

This survey will inform Surrey County Council of the information and advice about adult care and support currently provided through the district and borough council services.  It will also help to identify opportunities to improve the information and advice service currently being offered to the residents of Surrey whenever and wherever they choose to access the information.

What Happens Next

This consultation is now closed.

The results will be analysed and used to indentify opportunities to improve the information and advice about adult social care and support that is currently being provided to the residents of Surrey.
