Overview

As the Lead Local Flood Authority for the area, Surrey County Council is responsible for publishing a Local Flood Risk Management Strategy. This is a plan that outlines how we will manage the risk of flooding in Surrey. We published the first version of the strategy in 2014 and are now due to update it.

Why your views matter

The strategy is a plan that benefits and affects Surrey’s people and businesses, so it’s essential we listen to your opinions, take them on board and align the strategy with your priorities whenever we review or update it.
