A proposed first university technical college in Surrey - what do you think?

Overview

Surrey County Council has been working with partners and employers to explore the potential for a university technical college (UTC) in Surrey for 14-19 year olds, specialising in engineering and digital technologies. It is proposed the UTC would be based in Guildford and we are looking to open it in September 2017.

As part of the proposed bid that will be submitted to the Secretary of State in October this year, we need to show support for the UTC, especially from young people who will be aged 14 or 16 from September 2017 and their parents.

However, we would like to hear all views from employers, parents of up and coming inventors, engineers or technicians, including those already aged 14-19, as well as children and young people themselves. Please show your support before 21 September 2014 by completing this short survey.
