Expansion of Town Farm Primary School TW19 7HU

Closed 3 Feb 2017

Opened 6 Jan 2017

Overview

Surrey County Council, together with Town Farm Primary School is looking at how best to provide the additional school places needed in the Stanwell area.

Town Farm Primary is a two form of entry (2FE) primary school with nursery, accommodating children from age 3 to 11 years, with overall capacity of 420 school places plus 26FTE nursery places.

Our proposal is to expand Town Farm Primary School by 1 form of entry to 630 places. There is also proposed a small expansion of the nursery to include some 2 year old places. These changes would come into effect from September  2018.

Some works would be undertaken on  Town Farm Primary school's site to increase the capacity to accommodate the additional pupils.

The school would have a published admissions number (PAN) of 90 in 2018, giving an overall capacity of 630 places.

The school would expand its provision incrementally year on year, eventually reaching full capacity in September 2022.

Surrey County Council and the Governing Body of Town Farm would like to seek your views on this proposal.  The consultation will open on  Friday 6 January 2017.

Public meetings are planned at the school on Tuesday 24 January at 6 pm and Wednesday 25 January at 9.30 am .

All are welcome to attend.
