Meadows Improvement - online invitation for comments

Closed 1 Aug 2017

Opened 12 Jun 2017

Overview

We would like your views on the proposed changes to the Meadows roundabout.

High levels of congestion on this strategic road lead to significant and regular queuing on the roads leading to the roundabout.  The works aim to reduce delays and congestion and improve access to Camberley Town Centre.

The upgraded Meadows roundabout will lead to shorter travel time across the junction and reduce circulating traffic. The improvements include new signal crossings and traffic islands to protect pedestrians and cyclists.

Please scroll down where you will be able to download and view our detailed plans.

Further information on this scheme can be found on our webpage which we will update regularly.

If you have specific access requirements please ensure contact details are provided along with your comments.

What happens next

Construction is due to start by mid-2018 and will be carried out in stages to ensure a steady flow of traffic across the junction. Details of the construction programme will be provided closer to date.

Unfortunately we are unable to respond to individual questions unless they are relating to specific access requirements, however we will collate all feedback and publish our response on our Meadows webpage.
