Bus lane camera enforcement

Overview

We have been undertaking bus lane camera enforcement at a pilot site in Woking town centre.  We are assessing the results of the trial and we are now asking for your views about introducing cameras elsewhere in Surrey. 

We will be taking a draft policy to the Council Cabinet in October 2018, and your response will help develop what this policy says.  The responses will also help the councillors make an informed decision.

The police have responsibility to enforce bus lanes at the moment, but cameras and ANPR allow the bus lane to be enforced continuously during its times of operation.
