Farnham Town Centre Improvement Scheme Proposed Part Revocation Of One Way in The Borough and Downing Street Farnham
Overview
Thank you for your interest in our Town Centre Improvement Scheme and the proposed part revocation of one way in the Borough and Downing Street in Farnham.
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
The proposal:
Surrey County Council propose to make the above named Order, under Section 1 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, the purpose and effect of which is to amend the Schedule to “The Urban District of Farnham (Various Streets) (One-Way and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1967” insofar as to revoke the one way-system for traffic on the lengths of road specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice.
