Thank you for your interest in our Proposed Provision of a Pedex Pedestrian Crossing in A3050 Hurst Road, West Molesey.
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
The proposal:
Notice is hereby given that Surrey County Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Section 23(2)(A) of the said Act of 1984, propose to install a controlled signalised Pedex Pedestrian Crossing (with far-side indicators) on A3050 Hurst Road, West Molesey. The width of the crossing is 2.4m. The centre of the proposed controlled crossing is to be located 17.50m west from centre of the junction of A3050 Hurst Road with D6947 Rosemary Avenue.
