Waterhouse Lane, Kingswood- Waiting Restrictions

Closes 20 Feb 2025

Opened 16 Jan 2025

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our waiting restriction proposals on Waterhouse Lane, Kingswood.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

The proposed double yellow parking restrictions start just north of the southern boundary of the property known as Thirlmere House. The double yellow line restrictions will be on both sides of the carriageway and will extend north for a distance of approximately 75.3 metres including the junction of Waterhouse Lane with Brighton Road on both sides of the carriageway. Conversion of a property from a dwelling house to a church will lead to an increase in vehicle movements. This means that the current access needs to have parking restrictions to retain the current sight lines of 35.1 metres that are commensurate with the speed of traffic

If you would like to object, support, or comment on the proposal, please use the Online Survey linked at the bottom of the page, or alternatively, write to:
