West Molesey Prohibition of HGVs

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our proposal for the prohibition of HGV's in West Molesey.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Surrey County Council propose to make the above named Order under sections 1 and 2 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the purpose and effect of which will be to prohibit any heavy commercial vehicle, the maximum gross weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonnes, from entering or proceeding in the entire lengths of roads in West Molesey
