Proposed Provision of a Zebra Crossing in Nightingale Road, Guildford

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our proposed zebra crossing in D4006 Nightingale Road, Guildford.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Surrey County Council propose to introduce a zebra crossing in D4006 Nightingale Road, Guildford. The centreline of the proposed zebra crossing is to be located 11.2m west of the junction of D4006 Nightingale Road with A3100 London Road. The crossing is to be 6m in width and the width between studs of the crossing will be 4.2m.
