Overview

Thank you for your interest in helping us design our affordable Extra Care Housing as part of the Right Homes, Right Support strategy with Surrey County Council. We want to work in partnership with people to develop our Extra Care Housing and this is why we are looking to hear your views. 

Extra Care Housing consists of self-contained flats with 24-hour care on site, available to people with varying care needs. Extra Care Housing allows for flexibility as people’s needs change to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.

We appreciate you giving us your time and expertise and we hope you will find it enjoyable and rewarding.  We are asking you to complete a short survey so we can record your details and to help make sure you have a positive experience with us.

Why your views matter

We would like to speak to people who may want to consider Extra Care Housing, who are already living in Extra Care Housing or who are carers or loved ones of someone who you think may benefit from a home in Extra Care Housing.

We are looking for people to help us develop these settings, specifically looking at care delivery and housing management. We want to understand what is important to people when choosing a home which also offers care and support. 

What happens next

We will follow up via email with any specific information you may need beforehand.

  • In-Person Co-production Event

    From 20 Mar 2024 at 18:00 to 20 Mar 2024 at 20:00

    2-hour in-person event in which we will discuss our future plans for affordable Extra Care Housing and ask for your thoughts and opinions on what will be important to consider. This will be held in Guildford.
    Maximum 30 people.
