19/20 NMI Provider request for information
Overview
Surrey County Council (SCC) is undergoing significant changes to the way in which services are commissioned. To support these changes, the newly formed SEND Education and Corporate Parenting Commissioning team are exploring opportunities, the purpose of which is to improve partnership working and ensure that children, young people and their families have access to the right support, in the right place and at the right time.
Above all, we want children, young people and their families to be confident in the knowledge that they are able to access good quality provision that meets needs and aspirations to deliver positive outcomes for the future.
As part of this transformation process we are committed to making significant changes and improvements to the way we engage and work with you. As part of this process we are gathering information to better ascertain the current market offer, capacity avaliable and scope for closer working relationships. With this in mind we are asking suppliers, who currently place SCC children and young people, to complete this questionnaire.
Responses will be used by SCC to understand the market and plan for future demand. The information provided will be used for these purposes only and will not be shared with third parties.

Why your views matter
We are refreshing the way we work with providers, having recently launched our new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). As part of this transformation, we are asking for a few minutes of your time so we can better understand the services you provide and associated costs, the capacity you currently have and to establish the scope for future working relationships.
