EIF Consultation 2022/23

Closed 9 Jun 2023

Opened 24 Apr 2023

Overview

All Local Authorities are required to have an Inclusion Fund as an element of the Early Years National Funding Formula to support three and four-year-olds with additional needs to access their funded entitlements. In Surrey we refer to this as Early Intervention Funding (EIF).  Surrey County Council also offers limited access to EIF for children eligible for Funded Early Education for Two-year-olds (FEET).

Funding can be applied for children who are in receipt of Funded Early Education (FEE/FEET). It is awarded according to the level of need as detailed within the child's Surrey Support Plan (SSP),  and will be in place to support children with additional needs in the Early Years setting.

Why your views matter

As we approach the end of the third full academic year of EIF, we would like to take this opportunity to consult with our providers and settings to understand what has worked well and what could be improved in order to support children through EIF.

We will use this survey to gather your views and the data will enable us to improve processes and evaluate the effectiveness of the funding.

The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.

Please note that the information you share will only be used internally for the purpose of this consultation, and will not be shared externally.
