Opened 9 Jun 2025

Overview

We are looking for up to 10 families to help test and build a new home to school travel assistance application form for children aged 5-16 years. We want to capture feedback from parent/carers to ensure the form is clear and easy to understand.

Parent carers who join the group will be given be given access to the draft application form to try out and give feedback on. You will need to be available to join 2-3 calls online with the Surrey County Council Transport team to discuss possible improvements and guidance that might help other parent/carers. These will be arranged on Teams at a time and day that suits you, starting from end June 2025, over a period of 2-3 weeks

To be considered your child(ren) may already use transport or you may have recently been through the application process.

By taking part, you are contributing to making the application form accessible and user-friendly, so it’s easy for all parents and carers to navigate before it is launched.

Please use this form to register your interest. The project team will review and manage all the submissions to ensure that the user group is made up of participants that are representative of our parent/carer community; facilitating hearing the views from a wide range of parent/carers helps to reduce bias in what we hear.
