LGBTQ+ Community Resources in East Surrey

Overview

Surrey County Council and Growing Health Together are working to improve the lives of our residents and build health and wellbeing in our local communities. As part of this work, we would like to hear from the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer/Questioning plus) community in East Surrey about services and initiatives that would be helpful to you or that you would like to be a part of.

Surrey County Council wishes to engage more widely with residents across Surrey to seek out their ideas, and to link them with the right people/organisations in their local area to Make it Happen. We’ll do this by seeking responses to the following questions.

Data protection and accessibility

By completing the following questionnaire, you are consenting for Surrey County Council to process and store your information for the purpose of keeping residents, community groups, businesses and our local partners informed about the work that we are either involved in or supporting, to create empowered and thriving local communities. Responses will be collected by Surrey County Council and shared with Growing Health Together, Blossom LGBT, NHS partners, Reigate and Banstead Borough Council and Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership for the purposes of service planning and delivery. All responses collected will be anonymous and we will not collect any identifiable information relating to individuals.

Why your views matter

Your views matter to us. We want to create LGBTQ+ community events, groups and initiatives that you would like to see and be a part of. We're asking residents to help us do this by telling us your views. Then we can use that information to speak to community groups, residents and partners, and find the best people to help us deliver events that are relevant to you in your local area. By engaging with us, you are a part of building a stronger, more inclusive Surrey where no one is left behind. Let's Make It Happen.

What happens next

This survey will be open to responses from 08/09/2023 to 10/12/2023. The data will then be processed and the results shared with our partners for the purposes of service planning and delivery in the East Surrey area.
