Surrey County Council, in partnership with Spelthorne Borough Council, is bringing forward plans to invest in a new modern library and community hub for Staines.

Why your views matter
The new library and community hub will operate as a gateway to the town and a central point for information, support and advice. Within the hub the library will relocate with partners such as Citizens Advice, Voluntary Action, Spelthorne Museum with other lettable spaces available.
Before a planning application is submitted, we want to hear your thoughts on the proposal for a new Staines Hub.
The interior layout, programme of events and uses of the Hub will be co-designed with residents and local stake holders at a later point in the project.
What happens next
It is important to us that you have your say, so please do fill in the feedback form to let us know your thoughts. All feedback received will be considered as we review our plans, to see if they can be improved before we submit the planning application. Please send us your feedback by 5pm on 26 September 2023.
