2025/26 BSIP Funding Priorities

Overview

This is a short questionnaire asking members of the Surrey Bus Forum for ideas and priorities for allocating Bus Service Improvement Plan funding for 2025/26.

Surrey County Council was allocated around £12m of funding by the Government to support the delivery of our BSIP.  

The Government expects that the funding is spent in the 2025/26 financial year. Or that most of the funding is spent or fully committed with contracts in place. Also, to support timely spending, authorities have a clear set of priorities for investment. 

This short questionnaire asks members of the Surrey Bus Forum for views on where to focus that investment. 

This questionnaire does not cover every aspiration in the BSIP. It focuses on those investment areas where it is believed to be the best potential to deliver in year, as set out by Government.

What happens next

Once the survey closes, the results will be presented back to the Bus Forum at the meeting on 22 Janurary 2025. 

They will be used to help agree the investment options at the Enhanced Partnership Board meeting on 13 February 2025.
