Aarons Hill Godalming Prohibition of Traffic

Closed 24 Jun 2021

Opened 27 May 2021

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our Prohibition of Traffic proposals in Aarons Hill Godalming.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Cala Homes have undertaken highway works comprising alterations to an existing access road serving 11, 13, 15 & 17 Aarons’ Hill, to facilitate construction of their proposed site access to a new residential development.

The TRO is required to prohibit motor vehicles from entering the existing access road serving 11, 13, 15 & 17 (except for access to these properties). This will ensure vehicles associated with the new development only access the development via the dedicated new site access, and not via the existing access road serving 11, 13, 15 & 17.
