Overview

Thank you for your interest in our speed limit proposals in Crowhurst Road, Crowhurst.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Reduction of the existing maximum speed limit of 40 miles per hour to a 30 mile per hour maximum speed limit on a length of the D408 Crowhurst Road at Crowhurst, and a drafting amendment affecting the existing speed limit order enforcing the existing 40 mph maximum speed limit on that road.
