Farnham HGV prohibition proposal

The responses to the Order was:
• 103 supported
• 14 objected
• 22 made general comments without supporting or objecting
Given the quantity of favourable feedback received, and the lack of substantive objections to the proposal, it has been agreed by the Executive Director for Environment, Transport and Infrastructure to go ahead and implement the new HGV weight restriction as advertised.

Overview
Thank you for your interest in our HGV prohibition proposals in Upper Hale Road (part thereof), Folly Hill, Castle Street, and Odiham Road (part thereof).
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
