Overview

Thank you for your interest in our 30 mph speed limit proposals on Hoadley Road Horley. 

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Hoadley Road is a new estate road which leads east towards the A23 Bonehurst Road. The section of Hoadley Road through the built area of site will be a 20mph zone (subject to a future application). The remaining section included in this application will be a 30mph road, requiring a TRO as there is no street lighting. Proposals – TRO for 30mph speed limit along Hoadley Road from the junction with the A23 over the first 850m to a location between the bridge to the east and culvert to the west.
