Overview

Thank you for your interest in our Traffic Calming Proposals proposals in Ottways Lane and Grange Road, Ashtead. 

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Surrey County Council in exercise of their powers under Section 90(A) to (I) inclusive of the Highways Act 1980 propose to introduce a series of physical measures to improve safety and reduce vehicle speeds in Ottways Lane (D2575) and Grange Road (D2575), Ashtead.
