Surrey Flood Action Group Forum meeting - March 2020

Overview

On Saturday 28^th September Surrey Prepared hosted representatives from Flood Action Groups from around the county at the Surrey Fire & Rescue Headquarters at Wray Park, Reigate. We are now looking to arrange a second meeting.

The Forum allowed those affected by flooding to learn from each other’s experiences and share best practice.  The topics discussed were determined by what people had said they would find most useful and a mix of presentations, open discussions, workshops and tea breaks allowed all to contribute.

Why your views matter

The groups were keen to get together on a 6 monthly basis and Surrey Prepared will be facilitating this, aiming for the next meeting in March 2020. 

Potential dates are Wed 18, Thurs 19 or Sat 21 March 2020 at Merrow Depot, Guildford GU4 7BQ
