Overview

The JSNA (Joint Strategic Needs Assessment) Air Quality Survey is designed to gather comprehensive data on the impact of air quality on the health and wellbeing of our community. This survey aims to capture the lived experiences of residents, providing valuable insights that go beyond statistical data. By participating, you help us understand how air quality affects daily life and contribute to shaping effective interventions and policies.

The survey covers several key areas:

  1. Demographic Information: In this section we collect basic demographic data to ensure our findings are representative and to identify how different groups are affected by air quality.
  2. Health & Wellbeing: This section explores the impact of air quality on physical and mental health, helping us identify vulnerable groups and tailor health interventions.
  3. Air Quality Awareness: In this section we assess the community's knowledge of air quality issues and the effectiveness of current educational efforts.
  4. Environmental Factors and Behaviours: This section examines how environmental elements and personal behaviours influence air quality, providing insights into potential areas for improvement.
  5. Air Quality Alerts: In this section we evaluate the awareness and use of air quality alerts, aiming to enhance communication and ensure timely information reaches all residents.

Your participation is crucial in helping us to see how we can improve air quality as part of a healthier environment for everyone. All responses will be kept confidential and used solely for the purposes of the JSNA. Thank you for contributing to this important effort. Together, we can work towards a future where everyone enjoys clean, healthy air.

What happens next

Thank you for participating in the JSNA Air Quality Survey. Your input is invaluable in helping us understand the impact of air quality on our community. Here’s what happens next:

  1. Data Analysis: Once the survey period closes, our team will analyze the collected data. This involves looking at patterns, identifying key issues, and understanding the diverse experiences of residents.

  2. Report Preparation: We will compile the findings into a comprehensive report. This report will highlight the main insights from the survey, including the effects of air quality on health, awareness levels, and the effectiveness of current interventions.

  3. Community Feedback: We will share the preliminary findings with the community and stakeholders. This step ensures transparency and allows for feedback, which will be considered in the final report.

  4. Policy Development: The final report will inform local health strategies and policies. By understanding the community’s needs and experiences, we can develop targeted interventions to improve air quality and public health.

  5. Implementation and Monitoring: The new policies and interventions will be implemented, and their impact will be monitored over time. We will continue to engage with the community to ensure that the measures are effective and make necessary adjustments based on ongoing feedback.

Your participation has a direct impact on shaping a healthier future for our community. Thank you for your contribution. Together, we can work towards cleaner air and better health for everyone.
