Provider Consultation Young People’s Supported Accommodation (16+ to 21) Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
Overview
The DPS was established in April 2018 and will end March 2022. At this halfway point we are reviewing the current DPS looking to explore the benefits for current members, establish what is working well and what requires improvement, with the intention of recruiting more providers to the DPS.
As a provider for Supported Accommodation Service, your feedback is essential to inform us on the improvement and developments required. Please take some time to complete this survey and share your experience of delivering the service on the DPS.
The Council request all providers to take some time and respond to the questions below. We want you to tell us about your experience and give us your views on what is working well and what is not that needs to be improved.
Why your views matter
The main objective of the Provider consultation is threefold
- Review of the DPS - To understand and identify what is working well and to remove barriers that limit suppliers joining the DPS, especially those who have been unsuccessful in the past giving them an opportunity to reapply.
- Strengthen relationships with out providers - To assist the Council in building a good working relationship with our providers and to establish effective open two-way communication. To improve our joint working operational practices and ensure we meet the needs of our young people.
- Develop partnership working with our providers - To keep our providers abreast of the Council’s priorities and objectives, to listen to their views and suggestions on how we can work in partnership to meet these.
