Physical and Sensory Support Service Review (PSS)

Closed 31 May 2016

Opened 15 Apr 2016

As part of Surrey’s SEND2020 programme , the Physical and Sensory support service(PSS) are reviewing and refreshing the vision for the service, making sure that we recognise both national and local drivers for change.

PSS recognises that the majority of children and young people with sensory impairment and physical disability can be successfully included in their local mainstream setting and enabled to achieve good progress and outcomes. To achieve this requires that we work together, as a responsive specialist workforce, supporting access by anticipating need and facilitating holistic progress.

Why We Are Consulting

PSS is now in a position to respond to the outcomes of the Hearing Impairment (HI) review conducted last academic year; annual outcomes benchmarking data, formal and informal service delivery evaluations, compliments and complaints received and create a flexible and structured response to the national picture.

As part of this review, we very much welcome your feedback and input to help shape the service
