The proposal will continue to the next phase for a final decision taken by the Cabinet Member for Education and Learning at the decision meeting on 27 February 2024. Surrey County Council and the Governing Body of St Paul's Church Of England Infant School, Tongham are proposing to change the age range of the school from a one-form entry infant school to a one-form entry primary school and expand their premises to accommodate the additional children from September 2025.

Simultaneously, it is also proposed that the school lowers their age range to accommodate a nursery on site (ages 2 to 4) from 15 April 2024.
