Child Sexual Exploitation Services in Surrey

Closed 29 Dec 2016

Opened 9 Nov 2016

Overview

Surrey County Council Children Schools & Families Commissioning and Public Health are undertaking a service mapping and gap analysis exercise for Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Services in Surrey.

Why We Are Consulting

The aim of this mapping exercise is to explore the provision of CSE services across Surrey for children and young people who may be at risk, are in some way involved, or have survived CSE and to understand how these services are delivered.

The objectives are to find out:

  • referral routes and entry criteria;
  • service details including costs, exit routes;
  • whether provision is in-house, commissioned or delivered by a voluntary, community or faith sector organisation.

This service mapping together with the CSE needs assessment, CSE profile and CSE Pathway Practitioners Group will support us in identifying the services in Surrey that support children, young people, parents and carers. It will also enable us to determine gaps in service provision and to recommend how these gaps may be met, through a CSE Commissioning Plan.

What Happens Next

This service mapping together with the CSE needs assessment, CSE profile and CSE Pathway Practitioners Group will support us in identifying the services in Surrey that support children, young people, parents and carers. It will also enable us to determine gaps in service provision and to recommend how these gaps may be met, through a CSE Commissioning Plan.
