Rethinking Transport
Overview
We know that transport impacts every resident’s life and ability to connect with services, friends, and family daily and we recognise that there are some considerable challenges with Surrey’s existing transport network.
For this reason, as part of an exploratory piece of work, Surrey County Council, working with partner district and borough councils, schools, businesses, and faith and community organisations, is working towards a new vision of transport in Surrey to fulfil our promise to residents that “journeys across the county are easier, more predictable and safer” and that Surrey has “well connected communities”.
This is a unique opportunity to think differently about transport in Surrey and how we can learn from your transport experiences and your ideas for how transport can better support you, make use of new technology, and be more environmentally sustainable.
