Feltham Hill Road, Ashford- Junction Table
Overview
Thank you for your interest in our junction table proposal on Feltham Hill Road, Ashford.
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
The proposal:
It is proposed that the provision of the table with uncontrolled pedestrian crossings in Feltham Hill Road will improve accessibility for pedestrians crossing the road.
The roads at this location are regularly crossed by pedestrians on their journey to Echelford Primary School. The road table will encourage lower vehicle speeds.
Provision of this facility would provide improved safety for pedestrians crossing the road at this location.
Provision of improved crossings could result in a modal shift from car to pedestrian travel
