Thank you for your interest in our Raised Puffin Crossing proposals on Squires Bridge Road .

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

Notice is hereby given that Surrey County Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Section 90(A) to (I) inclusive of the Highways Act 1980, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Section 23(2)(A) of the said Act of 1984, propose to introduce a raised Puffin Crossing on Squires Bridge Road (C233), Shepperton, which will be located 30m south-west of the junction with Studios Road, (7m south-west of the existing crossing) and extend 3.2m in width. The flat-topped raised table will extend across the full width of the carriageway and rise to a height of 115mm and measure 11.5m long.

If you would like to object, support, or comment on the proposal, please use the Online Survey linked at the bottom of the page, or alternatively, write to:
