Overview

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

Statement of Reasons for Additional Waiting restrictions in Waterside Drive

Changes to the Waiting Restrictions in Waterside Drive are proposed as part of the planning application for the new Walton Heathside, secondary school in Waterside Drive. The proposals include changes to the current waiting restrictions to control parking at drop off and pick times along Waterside Drive preventing indiscriminate parking and which could cause adverse conditions for pedestrians and cyclists particularly pupils from the school.
