West Drive, Burgh Heath waiting restrictions proposal

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our waiting restrictions proposals in West Drive, Burgh Heath. 

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

A new bellmouth entrance has been proposed at 9-12 West Drive, Burgh Heath, Tadworth, Surrey, KT20 5PA. As part of the MiniS278 works parking restrictions have also been proposed. The double yellow lines will be put at the access extending for a distance of 20 metres south and north along West Drive and opposite the access for a distance of 30 metres on the eastern side of West Drive. The Yellow lines have been proposed so that transit and grocery delivery vans are able to safely enter and leave the site in forwards gear as the yellow lines will prevent cars from parking on and opposite the access.

The introduction of the parking restrictions has been assessed and agreed with Surrey Police and Surrey County Councils Road Safety Audit Team.
