Hermitage Road Toucan
Overview
Thank you for your interest in our Toucan proposal in Hermitage Road Woking .
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
The proposal:
Notice is hereby given that Surrey County Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Section 23(2)(A) of the said Act of 1984, propose to establish a Toucan Crossing on A324 Hermitage Road, St Johns, Woking, the centre of which will be located 21m south of the junction with the centre line of Gorsewood Road and will measure 4m in width.
