School Lane Egham Waiting Restrictions

Overview

Thank you for your interest in our waiting restriction proposals on School Lane in Egham.

The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.

The proposal:

As a result of highway works, the existing marked on-street parking spaces and the associated Traffic Regulation Orders fronting the proposed site on School Lane will need to be relocated to provide the required accesses onto the site.

The on-street parking spaces need to reduced/shortened by means of a Traffic Regulation Order to be made under Sections 1, 2 and 32 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

This Traffic Regulation Order will be permanent.
