Weybourne Road Farnham Raised Pedestrian Crossing
Overview
Thank you for your interest in our raised pedestrian crossing in Weybourne Road, Farnham.
The legislation we must follow before introducing this scheme means that we need to allow objections and comments from the public to be considered before a final decision is reached about whether or not to go ahead with our preferred scheme in its current form.
The proposal:
For some time, parents have been raising concerns about safety when crossing Weybourne Road to access both Farnham Heath End Secondary School and William Cobbett Primary School.
A comprehensive assessment of safety was undertaken in 2023, and the following measures were recommended as part of our Road Safety Outside Schools programme.
